A dental x-ray is an xray of the teeth which dentist use to look for impacted teeth, monitor growth and development of the jaws in relation to the teeth, and to identify potential problems between teeth and jaws and the temporomandibular joint.
You will be asked to stand, biting on a mouth piece. The radiographer will position you in the correct position. The machine will then rotate around your head acquiring the images of your teeth.
A dental xray will take 5 mins.
No appointment is necessary.

This means that your X-Ray will be bulk billed if you have your medicare card and a practitioners referral with you, and you will have no out of pocket expenses.
Yes, we can accept any other radiology referrals. If in doubt please seek advice from our friendly reception staff.
No preparation is required for either. Dentures, earrings and necklaces will need to be removed so the x-ray are not affected.
